Trapp Suite
This is a small 70 sqm meeting room on the 5th floor of the building and is an ideal venue for meetings or as office space for organisers.
The Trapp room on the top floor at Salzburg Congress is excellently suited to the staging of smaller-scale meetings and discussions. The entire floor is off-limits to the public, so the modern seminar technology and peaceful atmosphere guarantee workshops held here are a success. The room can be rearranged in a number of ways. On request, it can be set up and equipped with workspaces and office infrastructure. The lift and staircase ensure quick access to the event at any time.
The Trapp family
The life of the Trapp family is indelibly associated with Salzburg and music. Every year around 300,000 people visit Salzburg to see places associated with the Trapp family – in real life and in the film.
The musical and the film are based on the memoirs of Maria Augusta Trapp (1905 – 1987), written in 1948 as ‘The Story of the Trapp Family Singers’. Today, the songs from "The Sound of Music" are known all over the world. The film ‘The Sound of Music’ featured Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer in the main roles and is believed to be the most successful musical film ever made. The film has been seen by over one billion people since its first screening in 1965.
